Ms. Jaleen grew up on a farm in Iowa where she learned the core values of hard work and patience at a young age. She and her family love going to help with harvesting each year. She loves to show and teach her own children about country life vs. city life. Living in Denver is an exciting place for her, as she loves fine dining and experiencing new and interesting foods, of which she loves exposing her children to. They also enjoy trips to the mountains, and, according to her kids, she enjoys doing dishes and “being their boss.” Ms. Jaleen has come full circle at PDO since she first started as a mom and working parent in 2013. She was then part of the program with her second child years later, which is when she joined the Executive Board as Secretary. She helped keep PDO running during the pandemic, as well as expand the program in more ways than one. So, when a position as a teacher became available, she was so excited to continue on in a different role with this amazing community. Ms. Jaleen loves 3-year-olds and watching them grow throughout that stage of life. She is excited to help her class learn and thrive each day in her classroom.
